I provide telehealth therapy sessions, with the option of in person sessions in Bucks County, PA.

I can help. I have 15 years of experience working with people who are chronically suicidal, self-harm, and have difficulty regulating their emotions. I teach concrete DBT skills to help you manage your emotions, improve your communication skills, deal with distressing situations, and build a mindfulness practice.

I also provide one-session assessments for gender dysphoria letters. Gender affirming care should not have gatekeeping barriers.

EMDR Certified and DBT Trained

My therapy sessions have their foundations in the DBT training I received from Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. in 2013.

We work together to ensure you have the distress tolerance and emotion regulation skills needed to begin trauma work. We can then target situations in your past that have caused trauma.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) has over 30 years worth of evidence of its effectiveness in treating trauma.

Using bilateral (both side) stimulation, such as you tapping your shoulders, trauma can be processed and moved through without needing to give a detailed description of the event.

I adhere to DBT’s assumptions that clients:

  • Are doing the best that they can

  • Want to Improve

  • Have to do better, try harder, and be more motivated for change

  • Might not have caused all their problems, but have to solve them anyway

  • Have lives that are unbearable as they are currently being lived

  • Must learn new behaviors in all relevant situations

  • Cannot fail in therapy
